Bistro M - Long Island - Glen Head

We had eaten here before 1 or 2 times and it was superb.  It is tiny - almost dollhouse like.  Sat. nite, we started with wonderful foie gras, but, alas, the rest of the meal did not live up to the appetizer.  My duck was very good, but my friend’s hanger steak was a bit overdone. Two of the three sorbets in my dessert were good, but the third - kiwi - was just weird.  And my friend found her rhubarb dessert terrible…I think I will give it another try, not on a Sat. nite.  Perhaps Bistro M is a victim of my overly high expectations.
